AI transparency

Last updated: August 15, 2026

The short version: Light Sound Colors is owned and directed by its human founder. We use AI coding assistants as engineering tools while building it, and we say so plainly. Inside the app itself there is no generative AI and no cloud AI service: the only machine learning is a set of on-device landmark models for the optional camera modes, and what you play or show the camera is processed on your device. The app does not send it to any AI service.

How this app is built

Light Sound Colors is designed, owned, and directed by its founder at Omerica Studios. During development we use AI coding assistants as engineering tools, the way other studios use compilers, code reviewers, or contractors, to help write, test, and review code.

Every change is directed and reviewed by the owner, and every release must pass an automated gate suite before it can ship: safety-copy checks, claims and pricing checks, accessibility audits, and real-browser tests. Tools help build the instrument; a person decides what ships.

What runs inside the app

There is no generative AI in Light Sound Colors. The app has no chatbot, does not generate text or images with AI, and does not call any cloud AI service.

The only machine learning in the app is a set of on-device landmark models (hands, face, pose) that power the optional camera modes. They run entirely in your browser. The Open source, AI & services page lists each model, what it does, where it runs, and what it deliberately does not do.

Why we publish this

AI-assisted engineering is part of how a small independent studio can build and maintain an instrument like this, and you should not have to guess about it. If a future release ever adds an AI feature that runs in the app or touches your data, this page and the Privacy Policy will describe it before it ships.
