Sound Machine

Sound Machine is a light and sound fun app. Everything you hear is synthesized live on your device: no recordings, no uploads, no internet needed. Switch modes any time with the Live / Listen tabs up top.

Everywhere

• 📷 Motion uses your camera to play, in two styles you switch with the chip next to the 📷 button. 🖐 Fingers (the default) finds your hands: only your fingertips make music, so nothing else moving in the room can trigger a note. Two markers, LEFT and RIGHT, are always on screen so you always know where to raise a hand; a marker lights up solid once it locks on. Wave a finger (left is low, right is high) and it plays whatever you pick in the Instrument row, drums included. 🌊 Any motion is the free style: anything that moves in the camera view plays, your whole body, a dance, even a passing pet. In both styles 📷 Sens sets how much motion it takes. The camera is processed on your device only; no frame is ever recorded or uploaded.
• 👁 Eyes plays hands-free, made for players who cannot use their hands. A dot follows your head (works instantly), glides like an eye joystick, or, after a short 🎯 calibration, follows your true gaze. Hold the dot on any button to press it, blink to pause or resume the sound, raise your eyebrows to recenter, and sweep the dot across the open canvas to paint and play. The big side buttons switch visuals, themes, instruments, brushes, and pointer speed. On-device only; nothing is recorded.
• The controls live behind small tabs: tap a tab to open just that group (it always fits on screen, no scrolling), tap it again to close, and the arrow bar tucks everything away so nothing blocks the show.

🩺 Health & safety

Photosensitive seizure warning. This app displays flashing lights, moving patterns, and rapid color changes. A small percentage of people may experience seizures or blackouts when exposed to flashing lights or patterns, even if they have never had a seizure before. If you or anyone in your family has epilepsy, a seizure disorder, or photosensitivity, consult a doctor before playing. If you have any medical condition of any kind, or any doubt about whether this app is right for you, ask your doctor first. Stop playing and seek medical attention immediately if you experience dizziness, altered vision, eye or muscle twitching, loss of awareness, disorientation, involuntary movement, convulsions, or nausea. Play in a well-lit room, sit back from the screen, and take breaks. Children should play only with adult supervision. Hearing: keep the volume moderate, especially with headphones; loud sound over long periods can damage hearing. Take listening breaks. Movement: camera and eye modes involve moving your hands, head, or body; make sure you have clear space around you and a stable seat or footing before playing. Not medical.
