Sound Machine and the website lightsoundcolors.com (the "Service") are owned and operated by HalalHelper LLC DBA Omerica Studios, a limited liability company based in New Jersey, USA ("we", "us"). You can always reach us at omer@halalhelper.com.
By opening or using the Service you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.
Sound Machine is a recreational light and sound instrument that runs in your browser. The free version is free to play. An optional one-time purchase, Sound Machine Pro, unlocks additional visuals, journeys, instrument voices, and color themes. We may add, change, or remove features of the Service over time.
Pro purchases on the website are processed by Gumroad, Inc., an independent payment platform. The price is shown at checkout. We never see or store your card or bank details; those go only to Gumroad and its payment processors, under Gumroad's own terms and privacy policy. In the Android app, purchases are processed by Google Play Billing under Google's terms.
After a website purchase you receive an unlock code. The code is for your personal use on devices you own. You agree not to share, publish, resell, or distribute unlock codes. We may rotate or deactivate codes that are being abused; if that ever affects a legitimate purchase of yours, email us and we will restore your unlock at no cost.
All sales are final. Sound Machine Pro is a digital unlock delivered instantly, so we do not offer refunds, except where a refund is required by law. Please try the free version on your device before you buy, so you know it works for you.
Payments are handled by Gumroad, and Gumroad may review refund or chargeback requests under its own policies, which we do not control. If a purchase is refunded or reversed for any reason, your right to use Pro ends and you agree to stop using the unlock code. Nothing in this section removes a refund right that the law of your country gives you and does not allow to be waived.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own enjoyment. You agree not to:
The Service displays flashing lights, moving patterns, and rapid color changes that can trigger seizures in a small number of people, even people with no prior history. If you have epilepsy, a seizure disorder, photosensitivity, or any medical condition of any kind, or any doubt at all, ask your doctor before playing. Stop immediately and seek medical attention if you feel dizzy, disoriented, or unwell while playing. Keep the volume moderate, especially with headphones. Children should play only with adult supervision. The full notice is in the app under Health & safety, and by using the Service you confirm you have read it.
Sound Machine is a recreational entertainment app. It is not a medical device, provides no therapy or health benefit, and must never be used in place of professional medical care or advice.
The Service, including its code, synthesized sounds, visuals, names, and branding, is owned by HalalHelper LLC DBA Omerica Studios and protected by copyright and other laws. All rights reserved. The app includes Google MediaPipe hand and face tracking, © Google LLC, used under the Apache License 2.0; its license and notices ship with the app. Sound Machine is not affiliated with any instrument or hardware brand.
If you send us feedback or ideas, you agree we may use them freely without obligation to you.
If you believe anything in the Service infringes your copyright, email omer@halalhelper.com with the material in question, where it appears, proof of your ownership, and your contact information, and we will respond promptly.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any given time. You use the Service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HalalHelper LLC DBA Omerica Studios, its owner, and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any injury, loss of data, or loss of profits, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose, or ten US dollars, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so parts of the two sections above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms takes away consumer rights that the law says cannot be waived.
You agree to hold us harmless from claims and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these terms.
We may suspend or end access to the Service, or to Pro, for anyone who violates these terms. You can stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) survive any ending of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where the law of your home jurisdiction gives you a non-waivable right to a different venue.
If these terms change, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept a change, stop using the Service.
